Constructed from vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, this notebook cover is assembled by hand in our Dubai workshop using traditional saddle stitch throughout. The black leather, selected for its dense grain structure, will age into a deep, personalized patina over years of daily use.
Inside, two notebook slots fit Field Notes or Moleskine Pocket notebooks side by side, with four card slots for essentials. Two exterior flap pockets let you slide in tickets, receipts, stamps or a business card without opening the cover. The side pen loop doubles as a locking mechanism — slip your pen through and the cover stays shut. It fits any pen or pencil between 7 and 8 mm in diameter. The cover also accommodates a standard passport.

Product Care
Your vegetable-tanned leather will naturally develop a patina over time. This is not a defect, but a sign of an authentic, high-quality material.
To keep it looking its best, apply a natural leather balm once a year or whenever the leather begins to feel dry. Use a soft cloth and gently buff the surface after application.

Full-Grain Vegetable-Tanned Leather
There are objects you never replace. Not out of attachment at first, simply because they do not give up. Then, with time, they become better.
Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather works that way. Selected from the finest hides and slowly tanned with natural tannins, it keeps its grain, its nuances, and the variations unique to each hide.
Over the years, it darkens where it is touched, softens, and develops a patina. It takes on the character of the person who carries it.
Saddle stitch, sewn by hand
A strong stitch is not always something you notice at first glance. You see it with time, when the object keeps holding up through daily use.
Every Veloro wallet is hand-stitched using the saddle stitch technique, with two needles and waxed linen thread. This creates a dense, regular seam where every stitch contributes to the strength of the whole.
It is a slow gesture, but an essential one: it creates a durable, repairable stitch, made for pieces that are meant to be kept for years.
